LX with pentax-m zoom 1:4 80-200mm. Film is a no-name 200 from the local supermarket (2,99€ for a pack of three). Package says "made in Japan", so I guess it's a Fuji.

Somewhere in Europe - yes!

Photos were taken roughly one month ago on the flooded meadows of the river Oder, in the middle of the stream.

I was crossing the border to fill the car up with polish gas (which, by the way, is made in the refinery in schwedt, but due to different taxes ist sold for 30ct/liter less) and while driving across the river it became clear that in about 30 minutes, everything would be perfect.
So I filled up and came back 30 minutes later. :-)

wikipedia entry, english
wikipedia entry, german (much more info)

lovely bokeh on #3 Dave, rhododendrons don't survive here, I'd love to grow them, but every attempt has failed

I finally went out to try my hand at the Brenizer method this afternoon, and I´m reasonably pleased with the results. I used the M 85mm f/2, wide open, the camera set to 2mp jpegs. The first two are different crops of the same stitch, which was produced from a total of 19 shots. The full version of the first is 15.2mp, and the second is 14.3. The second photo is from just 9 shots but unfortunately I left a big gap so I had to crop that out, so it´s a mere 6.5mp.

Obviously I could get larger files by leaving the resolution at 10mp, but for this test, there was no point.

Thanks, they make it here North of Atlanta, GA just fine, but it only hard freezes a few times each winter. Oddly, the buds pop out just after the 10-day flowering event, and then hang on for one year. If the plant is crowded too much, it will not bud. Mine is 14 feet tall.

The majority of manual lenses I own are Ms as they are I believe a very good value in quality lenses. Even the A lenses that I own, I use as manual aperture, just to maintain the same procedure during use.

M100/2.8

M50/1.4

I found a Vivitar 3x TC at a garage sale, and had a chance to play with it along with the M50/1.7. As expected, the optics are not that good & these required a fair bit of PP. Still, fun for little money
