Please join and add your photos to the relevant photo clubs.

Thanks,

I did a 3 day tour of Taiwan's east coast. Imo it's the best part of Taiwan. Today the waterfalls (one pic in the A club) and tomorrow the ocean pics (sensor dust removal needed). These are taken with my traveling M28/2.8. At some point I'll have my M50/2 shipped from the US completing my cheap travel set (28/50/135).

I worked for many, many years with an M 28/3.5, K 55/1.8 and M 135/3.5, on film. Most of it using an original KX - all manual except for a light meter needle in the finder.

Nice shots you took. It's amazing how well the older lenses match up with the sensors. I would miss the wider angle of 18 mm on sensor equivalent to 28 on film, but to each his own choice. My two M's have treated me very well for quite a few years now,. and I see that yours are treating you just as well. Enjoy!

Thanks

The M's are nice and convenient. They also take great pictures but that's easy when you travel to great places.

Here are the pics for Sansiantai, Taiwan. Sansiantai translates to The Three Immortals from the Taoist folklore.

Maybe it's time to join

I was out this weekend and found a basic M lens kit for $100

I got a 28F2.8 a 50F1.7 and a 135F3.5

If i add this to my M100 macro and my M35F2 I think it is time to seriously join the club

have not had a chance to do much yet with the lenses, but I now understand why people like the 135 espeically. COmpared to my K135/2,5 or even my super tak 135/3.5 this lens is tiny.

the three lenses make a pretty small set to go with my *istD

You have good to go everywhere kit there.

I have only 135/3.5 & 50/1.4 so, little to cauch up there I quess. For that 135, I was surprised by it's size too. It is quite good too IMO, now that I have used it more intensively due to Single in august, I have found it better than at first touch.

No kidding - that's a fantastic kit for the *istD. I wish I still had my K100DS
