Thanks repaap.
First impressions are that the M 100/4 has a great sharpness to it, but I get the feeling that the bokeh might be slightly different? I need to go back and shoot some more on the Tammy before I can honestly say, because the 90mm Tammy has been neglected of late.
Rendering of the 100mm macro seems to me a bit reminiscent of a 55/1.8? I got some very clear 'real' looking shots as well, which I was impressed with. Note that the 100mm is f4, while the Tammy is 2.8. Theoretically that should make a difference in low light and such.... Contrast and colour seem to be pretty vivid on the 100mm. Possibly slightly more so than the Tammy. But this is all off the top of my head.
I'll try and do some shootouts of the two lenses soon and get back to you. I meant to do some more macro shots this evening but have gotten distracted by the forum...
And now it's getting close to bedtime.....
