i was out shooting with Tim (blackcloudbrew) last night and needed something longer than the FA77 i had on me...Tim quickly handed me his Pentax M120/2.8 so I could get this shot of the glowing sky. Thanks Tim!

Very nice, Mike. Love the tones. You forgot to change the SR to 120mm, it stayed at 28mm, at least your EXIF said so

Colorful! Looks like a species of Elephantopus, very similar to the ones we have in the southeastern USA.

Pine Grosbeak

A pair of Pine Grosbeaks visited our feeder today. They were here for perhaps 10 minutes. Ran to the basement and grabbed the 400, put it on the camera and took 6 shots. Went back to get the tripod, and they had already left. Hand held with M 400 at f/5.6 - ISO 400 - 1/180 Sec - SR on - PEF.
Processed in LR 3.6. Exposure + 2/3 stop, reduced purple 100%, cropped to 2414 x 1616, exported to JPEG 1024 x 685.

Nice looking shot. Yeah, hard to complain about the IQ of that lens! This was also shot with it (xposted to pets).

Thanks, your kitty's fur looks great! All that bright reflective snow must have made it a bit of a challenge.

SMC-M 28mm f3.5

Just re-aquainted myself with this lens. I like it! Took a few shots in rather dark twilight conditions this evening, ISO 800 on the K7 and shutter speeds of around 1/8 - 1/30.

M 28 f3.5 - wide open (Av mode):

And stopped down to f8, M mode, with a 3 second exposure:
