M35 f2.8

I started experimenting with bleach bypass + split toning + vignetting in Corel Aftershot Pro last night, and I think I might be hooked. Which makes me feel like a horrible person.

Here is one with M 40-80/2.8~4
WO with flash.
Is that wide open in Macro? That's a great image, sharp and very smooth...

K20D + Pentax M 40-80/2.8-4.0 @ ISO1250

60mm 1 Stop Down

80mm 1 Stop Down Close Focus

Macro Mode 1 Stop Down

*Still searching for a sweet spot on this lens, I've found it seems to work better with the K20 than the K-x. One Stop down tightens everything very nicely!

Really nice!

I have noticed that same thing. One or two click on aperture ring makes it better. Sweet spot IMO is quite near 60-70mm.

A composite image of six shots (3 interceptors, missle, moon, stars) merged in photoshop. For the Pentax User Group fortnightly competition. Pentax K20D, AF 500 FGZ and AF 360 FGZ flashes, SMC-M 100mm f/2.8 lens for all images except the moon.
