Screen grabs from a short film I shot over the weekend. Each of these was taken either with my M50 1.4 or M85 f2. (cross posted)

Thanks! It was actually 2 old pieces of glass - the 50 and the 85. I think they've held up well over time.

I recently acquired a nice copy of the M28/3.5 and was doing some testing with it this evening. Taken with an *istD (f/8 I think). Minimal PP was done - and no sharpening!

That M 28/3.5 was my only wide angle lens for many, many years. The old basic kit I had was M 28/3.5, K 55/1.8, M 135/3.5 on a KX (the old film tank). You folks in here sure know how to get the best out of the M glass.

Thanks, but that was just a playing around shot in the backyard. But I do like the sharpness & the tones! I want to take it out for a real test-drive soon

I've got a couple other manual 28s, and they're nice, but the M28/3.5 has a totally different personality - different tonality or something. I like it Yes, I always enjoy seeing what folks are doing with the old glass here - some stellar work!
