A fantastically sharp and underrated lens. Nice shot.

Inspired me to take out my M50/1.7. I have the M50/1.4, so I usually use that, but the its cheaper cousin has great rendering.

All wide open on my NEX-5N:

How is it I missed this? I have 5 or 6 M lenses. Now I gotta get crackin' and share some of my work with them.

How about this? Shot on film with my Ricoh XR2S and M 40-80 zoom.

The General Store in Knights Ferry, California. I guess they sell Generals there or something.

An over shot subject I know, but I continue to be so impressed with the M 75-150. I must say that the process of posting a jpeg seems to have taken away about 50 per cent of the sharpness.

But its still a stunningly good photo!

Here's a reflection by one of the more hidden film era gems; the M 35/2.8

Cross-posted in reflections.

Great captures, dunerunner and utak ... makes me want a M 35/2.8 even more now ... it's on the "short-list", but have not found a decent copy.

There's this one, but he's always a bit "pricey", but the quality is "A+" ... PENTAX 35/2.8 KM SMC PENTAX AL19/N
