Town Topic

I've never been to the Town Topic, yet I find it somehow captivating.

It is indeed a reflection, well spotted.

The pond was absolute still and full of fallen leaves, hence the red and yellow colour, I used focus peaking to shift the focus plane to near infinity hence the trees in the reflection were in focus but the closer submerged leaves were thrown out of focus to produce this projection effect. And just so happened it was clouded over so there was no direct sunlight hitting the surface of the water so there was no glare, some shots I took just moments later when the sunlight comes out did not turn out very interesting at all.

Elpolodiablo, It's very interesting to read/see a post from someone such as yourself posting autumn leaves from the southern hemisphere, while we, here in the northern hemisphere are just beginning to enjoy our spring, and are trying to forget a very severe winter.

Makes one think.
