Water was 25°C

That second shot is beautiful.

FWIW, I have the 200mm M - I rarely use it though. Honestly, it was an irritated impulse buy after I discovered the 200mm I'd had sitting on my shelf while I had no camera was in reality some sort of Frankenlense (I suspect a Nikon or Canon with a PK mount kludged onto it).

When I *have* used it, I have never had a complaint about the results.

With the 135 f/3.5, can't remember at what aperture I set it. Probably around 5.6 or so. It's quite a sharp, little lens!

It's a very nice lens, cheap and certainly one of the best rated M's. I have it and it is one of my favourites, although I don't have such a premium glass lineup to compare it like yours.

Like Cabessius said, it's cheap enough and widely available, it's worth the <$100 experiment, don't you think?

If you want to see some test shots of the 135 3.5 (perhaps at various apertures, shooting into the sun etc.) just shoot me a PM
I think it would be a nice addition to your setup, 135mm is surprisingly useful even on a crop camera. And it's quite sharp, not very big or heavy and it doesn't cost much (I think I paid €25 or so). What's not to like?

M 200/4. Bargain new old stock for £20, and a lovely sharp example.

First attempt at flash photography with a manual lens - M50/1.7 with my new Metz 58 AF-2 flash. A bit overexposed, but the subject was too antsy to give me time to adjust my settings before she ran out of the room.

^ ^ ^ Actually, I think it's a fine shot just the way it is. You can probably reduce the hot light a little in post but it's good as is.
