Because of your picture I checked image samples for that lens, it's so "3D". Better than my Vivitar 135mm f3.5. One more lens in "I want it now!" list.
So far I own only one M lens 100mm f4, it's great, with creamy bokeh, sharp macro and close ups, but ordinary good for distant shoots, imo. Yours is special.
I have some pics in this thread from a few weeks back from this lens when I first got it - I was amazed at how good the IQ is, better than most primes of the era. They are quite common on ebay and not too expensive. I paid €30 for mine (superb condition) in a second-hand shop in Spain, and this is around the normal rate.

I found your album on flickr, yes, that lens is special. Like HD 3D Not many on US ebay for the moment, and too expensive, I can wait.

Thanks - I've also posted a few photos here previously with this lens. They do turn up from time to time here on the Marketplace at decent prices. Mine was part of a ME Super bundle I found on craigslist, which is rare these days. btw, your M100/4 macro is one of the lenses in my "I want it eventually" list Great lizard shot.

Here's one with the M100 Macro. Not a macro shot, but I do think it shows some of that three dimensionalism that you were talking about, even though it's stopped down.
Yep, it's great M100mm, sharp and "classy", but not THAT dimensional, imo (I want M75-150/4, want it noooow!)

The only photos I got today that were worth keeping.

Taken in the dining room in the middle of the day. Room was dark, light provided by the fish tank light and the window on the opposite end of the room, which you can see reflected in the glass in the first image. The fish were not very cooperative. The second pic is of the algae eater in the tank. It was oddly still today, usually as soon as it sees a person it hides. As always images taken with K-50 and Pentax-M 28mm f/2.8 lens.

My Pentax-M 50mm F1/1.7.
Taken today in our garden. I'm particularly happy with the focus on this rose.

Very nice! I like all the detail on the petals. Just the right amount of DOF, too.

I used to have one of the f:1.7 lenses, but gave it to a friend of mine's grandson, who was getting into photography. I do have a f:1.4, though.... but seldom use it, so I really don't pine over the fact that I gave the other 50mm away. It seems as if I ever leave the house, I grab a zoom of some flavor or other... usually my Tamron 28-200mm. I shouldn't limit myself to the same old focal length lens continually. Maybe I need to set aside one day a week as a "Different Focal Length Day."
