M 50mm f1.7. Hyperfocal, with diffraction, but still lots of detail and great DoF, despite the cloudy weather! Wish more modern lenses came with usable DoF scales!

A little off-topic as this is a DA* lens, shot with a K-series lens, but I'm sure this is just what you mean by a "usable" DoF scale.

Haha! The sad part is, that is actually the better version, many lenses don't even have a distance scale anymore. We are lucky if we get an infinity mark!

Love those old Farmalls. Before I bought my Ford 8N I looked at a couple of Farmalls, one was an old diesel M. What a beast!

Yeah, you're probably right... it was my first promenade with a DSLR, which I just got...
If I were to re-shoot it I would go at least f/2.8, but I like that shot very much nonetheless... I think it sorta tells a story (or tries to
