Nice shots, Jonathan - the M50/1.7 is a gem.

M75-150/4 on an *ist D, I think at f/5.6:

Thanks. These are now gone, too. These are leftover pictures from last week...

That M50 f1.7 gets a lot of love around here.

Here is the M135mm f3.5 with something uniquely Australian :P

Paul, I had a lot of fun with my 75-150mm one of those handy buggers of a lens.

Also, Merican's. our birds are better then your birds

Looking it up online I'd say you were spot on. Not a twitcher myself - just looking for things to point the 200mm at :-)

So, I may have led you on a bit with my wording. This was at a Falconry Show that took place at a street festival here. This guy had a few Hawks, Owls, and other birds. His opener was a Kookaburra. When I first saw it, I knew it was a Kingfisher of some type, but didn't know exactly what. All I have here locally to compare it to is the Belted Kingfisher, which is much smaller. Once the Kookaburra started his "laugh", I knew exactly what it was from seeing it in Youtube videos. But, I did see a 'Stralian bird in Texas. It was just coincidental that before I could post it to this thread, I saw your comment above. Enjoy.

I'm gonig through a bit of an M revival. I've ended up using my Super Taks for a good part of the last 12m neglecting the M's.. Now I keep telling myself this isn't LBA, but I think I've going to try and get them off the shelf a little more often.

It's hot over here.
