Awesome deal.

The other day I noticed an ad in our local online classifieds. It was a Asahi MV camera with 3 lenses listed for $110. I couldn't tell the type of lenses from the pictures and for what ever reason the person couldn't tell me what they were, so I went to have a look. I manages to pick up the camera, a 135mm f3.5, a 28mm f2.8 and a 40mm f2.8, all in excellent to near mint condition. Best part, I got them all for $85. Now, 2 of them are repeats for me, but I don't care. I love getting a deal. I love the 40mm which is the newest addition to my collection of m lenses.

Here is a shot from my favourite lens, the SMC M 50mm f1.4.

SMC-M 28mm f/2.8

.

More from the M 28. It's fun to crop again on the K20D. Talk about weird bokeh
from this baby, too.

Beautiful shots sherman. I love 1,6, 7 and 11. I agree on how fun it is to crop on the k20d. It's a luxury to be able to zoom in to show the details.

i myself am a proud owner of SMC-Pentax-M 50mm f/2.

also, does Pallas Magenta AD 28mm f/2.8 lens fits into this fully-manual club? also non-A lens, but no Pentax name on it..

Sorry, only Pentax SMC M lens discussions are allowed on this thread. Congrats on owning a 50mm f2 though. I would suggest trading it in for a SMC M 50mm F1.4 if you have the opportunity. Otherwise, the f2 should serve you fine.

My SMC PENTAX 1:1.2/50 on my Novoflex bellows. Handheld in a hotel garden in Alsace in France.

It is interesting to note that this version was build from 1975 to 1977. The second version was build from 1977 to 1984 and the only difference seems to be the name : SMC PENTAX 1:1.2/50mm.

Head for the Off-Brand Club. Your Pallas will feel right at home and everyone else in the club will be eager to see your pics!

This one is the latest from my old SMC-M 135 prime (the one that came along with the wife and her ME Super *mumble* years ago...)

Taken on a Puget Sound beach weekend before last, K100D

Needs a bump

shot with an almost dead 50mm f/1.4. Anybody knows how to fix a lens that fell to the floor and has a stiff focusing ring?
