M40 as panorama lens

M40/2.8 is not that bad wide-open at infinity. This is major fragment of panoramic picture composed from 4 frames.

Good lens this M150 is.

Weather has been quite bad this month, so haven't produced much else than what I need for SIC, but I've been very happy with this months lens.

Those are excellent shots iheirmo. The M 50 1.7 is the second lens I've ever considered buying a spare copy of 'just in case', the first being the DA 15 Ltd. SMC. I bet that 50 1.7 is wonderful to use on the K-1.

Is it just me? I find the bokeh a bit "fussy". Otherwise, the lens renders the subject very well indeed.

Yes, it's fussy, given the background of branches & brush nearby. I'm pretty sure this was taken at or near wide-open. Just a case of shooting with what I had available, and the busy-ness doesn't really bother me. It's quite a remarkable lens, for an old manual zoom, imo.

I haven't yet shot enough with K1 to master the camera, but it is good.
