Ah ok.

You certainly got good results from it But I'm sure ithe lens would look even better on your K-1.
It does. I Had a fabulous June SIC with it

I got a good deal from K3 and it offered a chance to upgrade K5 with little money. I bought it to serve as a second body when I have a need for two camera or need the extra reach or frame rate. Just need to get familiar with it.

How do you like the K-3 compared to the K-5? Do you think it is a big improvement?

I believe it's worth the 100€ I had to put in

But I'm still working on the expectations. I haven't used K3 enough yet to form my own opinion. Should be clear step up in IQ in good conditions, faster and also better AF for those who use it K5 is supposed to have better dynamic range and low light performance, but as these are also the strengths of the K1ii I thought K3 would be better companion to it. We are just stepping into darkest time of the year, so not the best time to test K3, but I try to go thru my M lenses with it to see how it works.

From what I've seen KP is clearly better than K3, but too expensive to mostly stand on the table just in case. Also wanted a second camera to run on the same battery as K1ii.

There was no sign of snowfall in forecast yesterday, but this morning the ground was white. Not here to stay thought. It will be gone soon.

Well, at least you had some. And you had these ice eggs on the beach, I read in the news over here in the Netherlands. That must have been a nice sight to behold.

Those ice eggs were quite far, about 600km north, from where I live, but it was also in our local news. Rare sight. Haven't seen or even heard of such thing before. If someone is interested here is a link to webpage of local photographer who took the shots used in news. Not really on topic, but still shots worth a look, due to unique conditions.

Not really impressed by IQ. Too bad he didn't have K1ii and M20. It would've done better job with the same price. I hope that aftercomment turns this post on topic

Took some close ups at MFD today. I go with this due to landscape orientation.

9th - Unfinished theme

I guess unfinished theme is natural partner to broken series

My rider had an unlucky hit to gate during the last training camp and the metal layer on the top cracked wide open. As we weren't able to press the layer back to original shape, I decided to remove it altogether, so it wouldn't gather snow and keep on enlargening the gap. Now I just need to figure out how to fill the remaining opening to make it watertight and pretty.
