M135/3.5

First post in this club. I love all my "M" glass and don't use it nearly enough.
Picked up a like new M135/3.5 recently. Carried it around on the K-3 yesterday.
These are all wide open except Dinah, the dog.
Don't know why EXIF sees it as 35mm.

You have to insert focal length manually for all K, M and A lenses for proper working SR and correct exif-information.
You probably skipped the request page by pushing the shutter button or OK-button after turning the camera on, or you switched lenses without turning the camera off.

Request page isn't coming up on the K-3. It does on the K-5 with this lens and it does on the K-3 with other lenses.

Curious?

Sometimes it doesn't come up with mine either, but this is a rare occasion so I haven't thought about it, nor have I ever looked into the circumstances of this behavior.
In this cases it is reachable with the "menu"-button on page 3 of the still photography settings (the little camera symbol)

Cross-posted to the Brenizer thread, I used the M 100mm f/2.8 for this. I usually use the 85/2 but didn't have that with me.

This is such an interesting photo in a cemetery with a trash barrel center stage. It leaves the appearance of an very active cemetery with visitors, including that person with a backpack, and staff afterward maintaining visitors' spent debris.

I occasionally visit cemeteries of my deceased relatives and leave flowers, but I never get back to remove them since the cemeteries are more than one-hour distant. The barrel here helps make me appreciate a central concern -- the workers who help keep things looking clean.

December Single In Challenge 2019 with K1ii & M85/2

Finnair

K1ii M85/2 ISO100 f4 1/4000:

Long day. Longer than expected as plane was running late and then we had to wait a long time for trasnportation in Milan Malpensa airport as we missed the designed bus. So some artsy shots to go with the offical as I had time to look for ideas today:

They grow up so fast

K1ii ISO100 f5.6 1/180 flash (and lot of rescue work in pp, as the main light in the flash didn't shoot resulting in severely underexposed shot)

Indipendence day tomorrow in Finland. Kids had celebrations in the school today and my son wanted to go all dressed up. First time in black suit, so had to take a shot in the morning. Which brings me to the topic of the day; I need a flash. My old I got from my father is from somewhere of late 70's, I guess. Bit tricky to use, but I could live with it on K30, as it worked. On K1ii it doesn't and only shoot the small support light straight ahead. Even that works unreliably. I don't like to use flash, so problem haven't come up before, but I need one occasionally, so I guess I need buy a new. Problem is I want it to be good, flexible and cheap Several hundreds feels too much if I use it couple of times a year. Any suggestions?
I think no one's answered yet... I can't recommend the AF280T enough for using in manual mode (M) with manual lenses. You basically tell the AF280T which aperture you're going to use and the thyristor sensor takes care of the rest (you had an old flash so you must be familiar with thyristor flashes?). With the shutter speed you're basically telling the sensor how you want to expose the non-flash background (or areas in the shade). They're really cheap as well. Everybody who shoots manual lenses should have one IT shifts, swivels, moves backwards and even downwards for macro use.

Thanks. We had conversation on Flickr page. I might go into Godox system, as it looks like decently priced, nice size and can be build into larger system with radio controlled flashes. I'll recheck things once back in Finland.

December Single In Challenge 2019 with K1ii & M85/2

11th

Selection of future BMW models, I believe.

K1ii M85/2 ISO100 f? 1/250s:

Training day in Deaflympics2019. Race slope for snowboarding is mostly in shadow and chairlift goes over it. Not optimal for shooting. Tried to hide the problems with heavy filters Got better shots with longer lenses.

Did you intend for these to come out as B&W? It works pretty well for the snowboard slope. From the earlier series the Finnair winglet is very nice, especially with the window providing a natural frame.
