Is this a common means of conveyance in this area of Finland? Or, is this recreational travel?
Even thought our cars are heavily taxed, horses are even more expensive to keep. So anything horse related can only be justified as a hobby

Amish in our area use horses and buggies for their transportation, locally.

Yes, some jackaninny did say something like that. But in the internet era, where everyone who knows a language can broadcast it worldwide, people will literally say anything.

Although the lens is very very good, it can take some awful photos however. Case in point:

=======
Morbidity
A circus clown, off hours, stands in front of the mirror with his camera and flash when it accidentally went off.
The lens was the spectacularly underrated M40f2.8 Pancake made by Pentax in the early Reagan years.
K-1 mII, M40f2.8, Godox TT350 flash, camera held just in front of my bulbous gut, pointed at mirror, flash head pointed at my wretched and unshaven face

At last, an honest self portrait!

The Barber in the Basement
...of the increasingly decrepit Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It's a beautiful building, woefully in need of restoration.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I promise I'll stay behind the camera for the next few years.

I'm going through my M series lenses trying to decide if/what to thin out of the inventory, and I think that one I will be keeping is the M28 2.8 silver ring version that seems to be a poor cousin in the ratings.

I'd posted this pano previously of two Ektachrome slides I shot on the old ME in the fall of 1982 not long after I bought the lens. Think I'm going to keep this one.

On to the M 50 1.7, M 50 2.0, M 100 F4 Macro, and M 200 F4...

We just had a new bank building go up in our town of 5,000. In the parking lot are our town's first two electric vehicle charging stations, and a hitching post for horses.

That would make for a great juxtaposition shot mroeder75.

End of February and spring should start, but it looks like winter is finally arriving. There has been many storms lately and it has pushed a lot of water into baltic ocean. Water height have been near records lately on our shores. Visited a regular shooting spot today and never seen water this high before thought it's already going down.
