1:3 crop from M85 shot. F2.8 or wide open. Don't remember. It was good to shoot with M's today after 2 months break.

An image of our dog, Raud at the end of a rather wet morning walk. Taken with the M50/1.4 at f/8.

That's a great shot! how do you focus so quickly? If I tried that it would be off focus a bit.

I suggest an O-ME53 eyepiece for the magnification (I do not need glasses for distance following my cataract surgery) and the three most important things: practice, practice and practice.

Thanks, well, I learned photography with a manual focus lens, so that is something I'm used to. I guess that helps. Rest asured that there are plenty of unsharp images as well...

I have O-ME53 and S focusing screen on my K1ii to help focusing, but still rely a lot also on catch in focus when shooting moving targets.

I was manual focus only for nearly 20 years. Practice, and never using equipment that focuses in the opposite direction as Pentax.

Catch in focus got me the only hummingbird shot I ever got. And in focus, but nothing else about the image was worth anything.

A common kestrel, taken this morning with the M300/4 green star lens on my K-50. Also posted this in the 300mm lens club.

Beautifully composed. What is the significance of the numbers?

Beautiful composition and lovely work with the longer shutter time and the white water.
