EDIT: And one from today with M50/1.7 and some really strong lights.
I will have to dust off the M 50/1.7 - Awesome results!

The ghosting isn't obvious in the PF size, to me anyway.
On that 3rd shot, look top right, that light source has it...

It's an amazing little lens that can be had under 50€

I'm not that picky, I guess. I didn't even notice it.

I know most of you folks prefer primes, as do I, but the M 35-70mm f2.8-3.5 also deserves a little love and attention once in a while. This little gem is built like a tank and is a joy to handle. I rescued my mint condition copy from a camera store at what I consider a bargain price several years ago. Did I say I really like this lens?

You did, and you provided fine examples of the reason why.

Are those photos very sharp? Anyone else seeing onlineflyer's images and thinking something isn't quite right there? If I'm the only one tell me but it's almost like all of them are slightly out of focus.

^^^ I'm not one to critique anyone's photos, but they do look a bit soft. I know what this lens is capable of, so I attribute it to the forum's attachment system.

Right, I'm not trying to be rude, or negative, or anything like that. This is more of a "hey, uh, something isn't right here" kind of call out so that the owner of the lens may figure some things out with some discussion and get more out of their equipment. Paul, your image of the sandal is different, in that there are sharp lines with crisp contrast on the sandal itself. There's also clearly out of focus rendering going on with the kind of busy / kind of bubbly bokeh aspects in the background. The previous photos lack those things.

Right, the sandal shot just happened to be the most convenient to post. This lens *is* truly a winner, in fact, mine is coming out of hibernation tomorrow!

Installed Helicon Focus 7 for focus stacking. It's been waiting some time, but just haven't got around to upgrade to newer version. First impression is that it's faster than older version. Also results from combining 3 pixelshifted shots look sharp and clear.

Shot taken with M50/1.7 and K1ii.

The question for me here is 'how do you like the shoes?'. I've recently seen them available in a nearby shop and they look great...

Well, they are pretty, so what's not to like???

There's of course still that new shoe feel meaning bit stiff and not really molded to feet yet, but time should take care of it.

These are impressively sharp imaged shoes.
