Yesterday in our bay it was 17-18C. It's been heating a lot in last couple of weeks.

17-18C - about 63 degrees F. Survivable, but very cool water temp - the water temp my childhood swimming coach forced us to swim in the indoor unheated pool, ugh. Suzie was at least in her 50s when I was 10 - I am now older than her - she must be dead or over 100, but now she is dead-right. I could swim my way out of trouble if trouble presented itself because of her. Due to arthritis I probably could no longer rescue others.

With 3mm suit it's already very comfortable. A couple of degrees more and it's time to chance to shorty.
