I spent a day at Finnhorse national champion race with M*300 on my K1ii. I'm used to 1/1500 to freeze target even in faster sports, but this time it wasn't quite enough to produce tack sharp horses. Not a big issue and not visible in smaller size, but something to remember next time I shoot horses that go this fast. I shot both wide open and f5.6, but can't tell for certain which is which.

In addition to the front focusing that I mentioned in the other thread my Z-1p also suffers from a light leak recently. I hope it is just the film type window which would be easy to cover.

Lower Austria, September 2021. Pentax Z-1p, smc Pentax-M 1:2.8 100mm, f/5.6, 1/180, Kodak Portra 160 film

This was taken either with the 50/1.4 or the 120/2.8, I don't remember which.

Actually I think it must have been the 120mm as the 50mm wouldn't have given that separation at f/2.8 (which is almost certainly where I would have used it.

Based on bokeh balls I would say 50/1.4. M120 bokeh is typically softer with less bubbles, I think

We had a nice autumn weather today and I took M50/1.7 for a spin. I haven't used it for a while. Such a nice lens.

I know I was using the 120mm just before and just after and I don't think I changed lenses. These were also taken with the 120mm and, though the trees are not so distant in these shots, the bokeh looks very similar and quite bubbly.
