Tom, I must firmly request that you stop posting these images. I am going into a severe depression because of them. They are way too good.
I agree!
Need to get out more with my 400mm...

Thanks Albert and Jason,

I'm not certain but these shots might be of the same Chickadee or perhaps just one other. They have become used to me and have let me get as close as the old M 400/5.6 permits. I'm trying to get as many shots as possible before the leaves come back and then such images just won't be possible. I've had the lens for about a year now and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. That being said, I finally saw a Cardinal on the weekend. No luck with that guy. All I managed was a red smudge. Got to keep working on the technique.

M 200 f 4

Hello,

I have just received my first M. Its a 200 f4. Tried it with my Kx and the initial results are quite pleasing. It will take a while before I get fully comfortable with this lens, but I already like the initial results.

M 100mm f/2.8

It definitely is Spring weather here in Vancouver, it has been for the past couple of months! Just thought I'd test the bokeh on my new M 100mm f/2.8.

I was about 7 to 8 feet away from the flower at f/2.8, 1/3000, 400 ISO

f/2.8

f/2.8

Snaps with the 85mm F2

I played with my 85mm F2 today. First pic was shot wide open and the second at F4.

I am slowly beginning to get comfortable with 85mm and 135mm focal lengths. 28mm is still new territory...

Kind regards
.lars

these are great lars. actually I prefer the 28mm focal length more than the 31mm. it gives me the FOV that I needed. I'm still hopeful that Pentax would release an AF 28/1.8 or f2.

Thanks. Unfortunately the DA 40 Ltd was my only lens for a long time. I guess I got "stuck" with that focal length. In November 2009 I began collecting manual lenses and put my DA 40 on the shelf ...it was an attempt to force myself exploring other focal lengths (300mm, 200mm, 135mm, 85mm, 70mm). I think I will keep my K28mm F3.5 on the camera for a month now and hopefully learn something

Kind regards

Nice pics! It's a good lens, unfortunately a bit underrated.

Kind regards
