Have you used a T/C with this lens ?

Well,
Sigma showed up.... Took it out of the box and snapped these. First and last I used Color FX Pro...the other 2 LR only. I'm really going to like this lens

Here's one with my normal post processing. It was even a touch out of focus. I now await my 1.4 and 2.0 T/C

That's some fine looking specimens there.

Rainy dark day here.....doesn't slow down the squirrels. It does slow down the Bigma! I had to tell her to stay real still for a second.
She complained that I cut off her feet...Hey! You want great shots get a great photographer, I'm just old Rupert!
Bigma 50-500

Dark as it is today I got a couple more shots......just what you guys have been lookin' for...more doves!

Got to be very steady for hand holding at low speeds on a dark day.....about half were...half decent!

I'll give a hand to Bigma bokeh! Love it!

Some shots from the last couple of days. Been having some great weather here lately. Wind a little chilly but the sun pretty much compensate for much of the coldness.

At least you have some sunshine! I'm stuck here in the gloom with rain and darkness shooting at ISO 12,800. It ain't pretty but the squirrel is still plenty handsome!

Otis was impressed! Did you happen to get her name and phone number? Otis will send his limo driver to pick her up!

After the rain, gloom, and darkness passed, I had to get out from being confined in my little office, so I went out into the dangerous Woods of Otis for some "nature shots" in the wild.
It takes a while to prepare, you need your snake boots, safari vest, and heavy camo paint to avoid being detected by Otis' Army of Squirrels. I only ventured into the jungle a couple of dozen feet when I got a little shaky from the chattering sounds of squirrels on alert and headed back out, but I got a couple of shots before I ran.

There are some nice shots in there waiting, but it will take a braver soul than me to get them.

Regards!

Finally got this great blue to pose for a couple of minutes. Been searching for it for a few days now. Condition wasn't that great today with clouds and the sun peeking here and then.

Nice ones! Love the last two...they look better viewed in the larger size on Flickr. Nice shooting!

The detail, when viewed in the larger size is very good. I seldom get light good enough for ISO 200 1/350. The Bigmas shine when you can get speed and light.

A little ray of sunlight let me get f10 1/250 for a shot late yesterday.......

Fluffed up on a chilly morning.

A reminder...you can do touch-up in Flickr using their editor. It is handy for minor adjustments without going back to your computer and reworking the image.

Here I added a little contrast and brightened the shot.

A wet rainy day here.....looks like all I will get is a few squirrels at ISO 8,000 or above.

You guys are shooting something? Post them!

Regards!
