Interesting, I like it, the light behind his head is distracting, good image all in all......

Testing the Bigma with my K3 at F:16, it seems to be the optimum f/stop,is it the same with yours? No sharpening done.

You couldn't wish for anything much sharper than that. The same combination works like that for me, too.

My my, SO MANY gorgeous pics from so many skilled fotogs!

My Sigma that includes 100mm is a humble ($199, new, delivered!) 70-300/4-5.6 APO DG. My only Pentax is a K-1.
Here's one in focus taken Saturday nite. F8, 15 seconds, ISO100.

...and one not well focused--it was VERY dark up there. F8, 30 seconds, ISO200.

How's the AF tracking on K1 with the 150-500? From reviews it said it has good AF-C compare to k3 and so forth.

Some from yesterday's walk at the park. K5iis with Sigma 70-200 OS version.

I've been shooting in AF.S and just focusing each time I shoot. I was about to switch to AF.C when Sigma said they had the part to fix the scratch issue and I sent the 150-500 off to NY. Stay tuned.

Have not had anything to post lately. I finally have a new monitor so time to go through the back log of shots. These are some shots from about a month ago. They look much better with the new monitor. My old monitor was apparently shot. All taken with the Bigma on the K3 handheld.

There was a screw sticking out of the board just below the swallow that I decided to clone out.
