Nice!
Make sure you disable in-body SR and use OS setting #2 on the lens...

A Kingfisher dangling in the heavy wind. Had to shoot from the driver's seat. As soon as I got out he was gone.

Thanks xanis, I do not see them often around here. A couple shots from June with the SIgma 50-500 and K3.

That's a wood stork? Never see them in my area. Great find!

Spotted this guy while out for a drive. Had to quickly switch lenses to the Bigma and only managed a few shots before he flew off. Shot from the driver's seat.

A few with the Sigma 120-400 dg apo os hsm. Overhead balloon passing by directly overhead (a bit of luck there) on a sunny day in The Netherlands (slight crop) @400mm F10. Second is a deer in the dutch water reserve area west of Amsterdam 210mm F6.3

Good lens this 120-400 but AF performance on my copy is very very slow. Tracking anything but a snail is nigh on impossible. Will be contacting Sigma on that matter.

Double the number

One of the difficulties of doing cricket is the lack of variation so I try to find some different aspects of the game to shoot

I really feel embarrassed to show up here, I haven't been here in ages. I've been all over the Forum but keep forgetting about this thread.....and it is a great thread with the lens that holds my heart and does 90+ 5 of all I shoot.

I've been looking back a few pages......some very fine shooting here that I have missed. I will try to post a lot more often.....and comment on what I see here too..you can count on that!

Since I got the K1 the Bigma 50-500 has been my main lens, later I will give you some of my thought on K1+ Bigma shooting...you might find it interesting and educational coming from a 10 year + Bigma shooter.

A few recent Bigma shots I kind of like...

Gotta love Bigma bokeh!

Let's talk!

Lonesome dove? (A FF shot with 75% of the frame cropped away)

Squirrel on alert!

Let's cuddle!

Searching for leftover peanut butter...

The Bigma shoots people too!

Best Regards!

Welcome back Rupert. Your Bigma shots both here and on Flickr have been nothing short of amazing. I look forward to your insight on the usage of the "big lady". Long live Otis.

Thanks Mick! I'll come back later and give my view of the Bigma when mounted on the K1.

Rather than keep posting K1 Bigma shots, here is where I keep all of them...most all are Bigma shots unless otherwise noted. I post the good...bad...and ugly here...some are half decent...some not so much but all were fun to shoot!
