Nice one Steve, I tried my Tamron 1.4TC with my Bigma on the K3. Pretty much manual focus only. Guess I better start a savings account for the K1.

Last weekend outing with the K3 and Bigma. All at 500mm ISO1200-1600 handheld.

Michael, with the K-3 I need a LOT of light but the combo will AF although it does hunt before it locks on. The K-1 just locks right on.

Tight crop from the K-1 and the Bigmos + TC at ISO 12800.

Trying out the Sigma 150-500mm HSM with the newly acquired Kenko 1.5x Pz-AF TC. Not sure if there is any degradation cause by the TC?

I have the same combo and the only thing I've noticed is a little bit of CA in high contrast areas. Your bird shot has plenty of sharpness and detail.
