I like them Ray.
There is something regal about the posture of the second one!
Contrast against the very green grass is excellent.
Many thanks, Rod. Yes, they do have a regal presence. We thought that the first one was injured but it turned out that he was just resting. Then he got up and walked away.

An old one I have not posted here before. Isaac Brock is the general that led British troops, and provincial militia at the Battle of Queenston Heights. He was killed there. His monument overlooks the Niagara River.

Have any of you guys made use of this service?

News update for Pentax K-1 Users with Pentax mount SIGMA lenses | SIGMA America

I was one who unknowingly mounted my 120-400 on my K-1 and scratched it. It's low concern for me, but I was wondering if anyone else had this service performed, how long it took (and especially if you were in Canada).

I’ve been ignoring the sigma APO 70-200/28, EX and 2x Tc in favour of my DA560 but the old dog can still do a few tricks. K5 at 1600 ISO

A while back I picked up a NIB Sigma 135 f/2.8 Pantel from the bay for $50.00. This is the first real chance I had at shooting it.
Pentax K-1 and the Sigma 135 Pantel
F/8
ISO 100
1/320

The pano is a 14 images mergeged and processed in Lightroom Classic. The original merged DNG file is 1.2 GB in size ths was downsized to a 75% resize at 85% quality jpg.
BW conversion done in NIK Silver EFX 3.0

I'm not sure if I like the BW or color version better. I had to use links to the panos since due to the size of them.

Thank you, I was blessed with great lighting. The K3 and Bigma were mounted on my Benro tripod. I have an Induro ball head and use a Wimberly gimbal sidekick. It works well is more portable then a full gimbal. I wish I had time to get it out more.
