I was wondering if the DA560 was FF , so I have my answer here!
Hi Sylvain,

I have done over 15K images with the K1 on my DA560mm since last Spring and there is a tiny bit of vignetting in the corners, which is almost not noticeable unless you have a very light background. I almost always slightly vignette my images when post processing, so I guess you could say it saves me some time By the time you crop 4 to 3 ration for full screen projection you are probably getting rid of it anyway. The K1 and the DA560 is a dynamite combination for large mammals, but with the slower frame rate the K1 is not the best choice for bird flight shots. Here are a few from by fall shoot.

Awesome shots oneill. How fast is the autofocus to get lock on and continues AF. I shoot mostly wild birds using K-1 and K-3. I have very good luck with K-1 and SMC 500mm f/4.5 MF lens. I am looking to buy long telephoto AF lens.
In most cases I can get away with MF, but there are instances where AF is a must so I am contemplating to get either DA 560 or FA*600mm f/4 if I can find one. I am not sure how fast this lenses focus with K-1 or K-3. What I like about DA 560mm that
it is weather proofed.

Murray, wonderful shots! I really love that #3, so sharp and a great look. Glad to hear the 560 and K1 are a good team.

Wonderful shots Murray!
Could you also share experiences using K1 + DA560 + DA 1.4 tc? It would be my preferred use, having both (but not the K1 yet)
Thanks
Chris

Has anyone used the DA 560 for aviation photography? Is the AF fast enough for tracking airplanes or BIF? I've read that it is much slower than the Sigma 500/4.5 and this is what worries me more about this lens along with the vignetting on K-1. I'm waiting to see more images taken with the DA 560 as it surely is an impressive lens.
