DA560 lens club - Let's see some photos!

After almost 2 years of shooting with this lens, I think I have all the kinks worked out both literally and figuratively.

Getting it back from service it is as good as ever

Along the way of learning this lens I kept an album of some shots,

I have shot exclusively hand held, mostly on the K1MKII

Had the DA560 on my K3iii while watching for migrating raptors and captured this land in a nearby cedar. I'm calling it a Savannah Sparrow.

DA560 on Pentax K3iii, all cropped otherwise straight out of camera. Bald eagle, probably 5 or 6 year old given the white head and tail and spotty white under-feathers. Red-tail Hawk. Red-tail Hawk. Sharp-shinned Hawk. Turkey Vulture.

I used the new version of Topaz Photo AI on 'auto' on these three shot with the DA560 on my K3iii. Taken same day as previous post. I'm not sure if they aren't a little overdone. Red Tail Hawk and two of the same Sharpie (Sharp-shinned Hawk).

BTW, How can I put text captions between images?

Great images! Keep posting DA560 images for our pleasure

Topaz seems to do a great job improving the images to the "pro" level.

If you preview your post before posting it, you can easily edit it and write captions between the images while being able to preview the final result and again fine tune it as you desire...

Redtail Hawks today with K3iii and 560mm. Cropped. Saw a few Golden Eagles, a couple Rough Legged Hawks, but most of the raptors were waaay up there today.
