Revuenon --all lenses-- club

Seems that there's no Revuenon dedicated club, so I thought I could start one.

I bought 55 mm f1.2 some weeks ago on eBay and now I'm starting to explore its heart and soul...

I bought the same lens six month ago and it's on my camera most of the time, always at f1.2.

A few flowers from our fall flower garden. Lens is super sharp, easy to focus, and I like the rendering for my flower shots.

I took the Auto Revuenon 50mm f 1.4 for a short walk through the flower garden this evening, and here are some of what I found.

KIT: K-3 with Auto Revuenon 50mm f 1.4

Just had a quick play trying to set up the focus on my KP - apologies exposure needs refining but I was testing focus. At F1.2 very difficult to hit via view finder. My copy is a bit soft at F1.2 but works fine in poor light. By F2.8 plenty sharp.

Having just treated myself to a KP my first attempt at a picture outside with my new camera using what is probably my favourite lens, a Revuenon 55mm F1.2. Current limits on movement restrict options so I thought I would try a late afternoon picture of the village church. A processed image - cropped a little and I had to pull the shadow on the pine tree out a bit (I have also treated myself to Paintshop Pro) but very pleased with the result.

I do like this lens the colours are gorgeous and it is excellent in low light where its full open short comings are less noticeable. Images are often slightly soft at F1.2 (dreamy) as the very short depth of field makes focusing very difficult - you never know if you haven't got it quite right or it is the lens. By F2 it sharpens up nicely and is very usable.

I do like this lens but focusing isn't easy at F1.2. Was trying to see how sharp the Revuenon 55 F1.2 is at F1.2 if you get it right it is sharp. Focused on the shock cropped to highlight the text.

I didn't realise this club existed. I have Auto Revuenon 50mm f/1.7 and f/1.4 lenses, both are very nice.
