Auto-Takumars

I need more auto-taks. First one with the 35 2.3 second with the 55 2.2 both on K-1
If I had to get rid of all my lenses but one it would be the 55 2.2

Nice I can clearly see the first one is the Auto Takumar 35mm 2.3

Here are a couple taken in downtown Pittsburgh with the 55 f/2 Auto Takumar on a Heiland H2

Both on expired Kodak P3200TMZ pushed to 6400 in HC-110B

These lovely pictures make me miss my Auto-Tacumar 1:2.2/55. I still have it however, but it came (with a good condition S1) with a disintegrating aperture spring. The glass is pristine and the lens in otherwise excellent condition. I disassembled it in order to discover this, and realize it needs a new spring. Assembling the aperture blades again was beyond my patience and abilities, so here it sits waiting for a spring and an expert to put it back together again.
I do have a functioning f2/55 version of this lens though, so maybe try that on the S1 in the future.

Been a while since any of my Auto-Taks got an outing so I decided to only take Auto-Taks on our annual skiing trip:

85/1.8, probably the one I should use more:

35/2.3, not the usual use for it I know, but love the sunbursts!

These are actually using the 35mm f/4 Takumar, the non-Auto predecessor to the 35/3.5 Auto-Tak.

Nice photos! I especially like the third one. How does the lens perform compared to later Takumars?
