Great great work. These are the kinds of shots I love seeing, sharp and well-composed photos with action/interest. Very well done!

So we've all seen those proud eagle photos. Very regal, right? Ever seen one fresh from the bath, moments after a torrential rain? LOL, it is not one of it's proudest moments.

Awesome rare shot Gatorguy! I used to keep Goffin's and they looked like drowned rats when they would bathe (usually right after I put fresh water in their bowl, then the bowl would be empty after their bath and water was everywhere in my room, LOL!)

I'm really happy with the performance of the DFA 150-450 with the K3iii on Saturday on a trip out to sea.

Was this photo cropped any and straight off of the camera?

I've been really liking the photos that everyone is posting of the K3iii 150-450 combo lately and it really has me thinking of investing in one to replace the KP.

Cropped, but I don't think it was heavily cropped. It's 16x9 so at least cropped to those proportions.

This one is actually less cropped because the bird was closer.

And these were earlier that day (or was it the day before?) at the marshland. I put in a little over 8 miles with it between Saturday and Sunday, and could not be happier with the results.

Last of this Osprey series.

I thought it was fascinating how the Osprey closes his inner eyelid when pulling on the bit of fish that might snap and hit him in the eye, and here I thought it was just for high-speed dives into the water to catch fish or something.
