A sample with the HD 1.4x Rear Converter attached. A single shot showing both the full size and a crop, both resized to 1024 pixels. The flower was circa 12 metres away. I stopped down just a tad, f9 (corrected for the RC), so basically 1/3 stop from wide open. This is just brilliant sharpness noting the extent of the crop and the fact that the lens is close to wide open.

K-3, 150-450, in-built flash, Rogue Safari flash extender, hand-held.

X-mode, 1/180th, ISO 640, f9 (corrected by 1 stop for the RC), 450mm (times 1.4)

Thanks

another serie with the charismatic bluethroat, though as i didn't hide properly, most of those are around 10 Mpix crops...

I am fun of this lens, including it's pretty smooth bokeh.

Does the Rogue Safari work well with the K-3? The website says it isn't compatible.

I swear, you get way more detail on days when the weather isn't perfect. Harsh light is not good light.

bought it at fotolooman.nl, he's the cheapest in Holland. You can try it, but if something wrong with it, he swap it for a new one. Nice guy as well

You have to set the unit in a specific position but it works great. Adrian and I discussed our testing here

Here are some photos of racing bikes taken at Oulton Park racetrack.

They have also been published at DPReview, resized to 2500 x 2000, hence much larger than here.

Thnx! Never been there but I`ve heared good stories about him.
However, still debating with myself whether to get the DFA 150-450mm or the Sigma 300mm F2.8... 420mm F4 sounds very good and I allready have the sigma 1.4 APO TC.

As for the DFA 150-450: Does anyone know at which focal lenghts the aperture changes? At how much mm`s does it become F5.6?
