Wet clean the sensor yourself. Kit is cheap enough and it's very easy to do (although quite nerver racking the first time) :-)

I've read too many horror stories. Do you recommend a particular set?

Pentax do their own product (Amazon UK but I'm sure it's available in other countries). That is the sticky version rather than the wet but it does the same job. You can also find cheaper alternatives if you don't want to pay for the name.

Love the Wren. I haven't quite been able to get that close to one!

That's not fair! An APS-C camera AND a 1.4x TC! Mine was taken on the K-1 (though I did crop ).

And I had to hand-hold the lens at an effective 945mm. No fair! You had more megapixels! Like I said, I didn't get that close.

Australian Idyll

A rather different usage of the 150-450. It performs well as a tight landscape lens as well.

I don't think it's mullet. The yellow eyes don't seem right. Click on the image for a larger view.
