There's a combo I've been interested in seeing results from for quite a while.... so far, so good. Thanks for posting. So with he 1.4 you'd have 630 ƒ8.

I've been interested, but this is the first time in a while that I've actually looked. But I'm sure I've seen some of yours and not realized what they were taken with. I'm usually a few days behind when I check the lens clubs and I just skim through the pictures and ignore the text. Kind of like reading Playboy used to be.

Old habits die hard.

Playboy did publish probably the best interviews with both Bob Dylan and Martin Luther King... I read those, but had to keep them under them mattress.

I still remember a line from the Bob Dylan... at the end of the interview, it sounds like both men were a little talked out and tired ... Dylan looked down and wondered out loud 'I wonder if there's a snake in my beer."

But I digress. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

The Scotch Thistles are flowering at the moment, and the bees are having a field-day.
These thistles are a weed in this neck of the woods, but when flowering they are attractive.
K-3 II, D-FA 150-450 + 1.4x TC handheld. See exif for shot details.

Cheers,
Terry

I'm impressed with how well the 1.4 TC mates with the DFA 150-450 on APS-C. I mostly shoot FF these days, and am envious. C'mon Pentax; how about a FF TC!

Hello Paul,
I use it a lot on the K-1 as well, and it works very well.
Not sure I'd bother getting a FF TC if Pentax released one.

Cheers,
Terry

Another weed!
Locally known as Prickly Pear.
It seems to flower at random intervals, and whilst the plant is nothing to look at, the flowers are...while they last.

Again, nice shots Terry.

There are some at Braeside somewhere but I have yet to find them.

I know my last post vented a bit on this lens. (Post 1202) But as I stated, in close and at shorter focal lengths it is a rock star. This shot was made the same day as my earlier image. Playing with Silkypix Developer Studio Pro 8. Lots to learn over PDCU.
