It took me some time but finally I persuaded myself that I really need this lens. So I bought it yesterday.

Any tips and tricks from you, experienced guys...?

Which bag would fit K-3 (or K-1) and DFA150-450 well? Should I buy something in Lowepro Toploader style, or rather something different...?
If you shoot handheld all day long, and have found a good way to hold the lens and manual focus at the same time while shooting, I find that the grippy knobs on the zoom ring start to dig into my skin, and towards the end of the day, part of my hand looks like the beginning of a blister. I'm considering getting a lenscoat to cushion it, or just find a piece of neoprene and make a small padded sleeve for that area.

I also use the Flipside 400 that others above me have mentioned.

The lenscoat I ordered should arrive on Monday or Tuesday. I'll post some photos of the lens once dressed.

K-3II and 150-450mm. I have to say this though, as much as I love this lens and the output I get from my Pentax gear the autofocus speed (and tracking in particular) stinks. Of about 50 shots I got only a few in focus, I would put it down to operator error but for the fact my keeper rate is far higher with my old Canon 7D and Sigma 150-600mm Sport.
