Mike, This is outstanding. I did not spend much time with it first time through because I assumed it was one of those boring manipulations with two photos combined BUT you did it in one shot! That is real photography. Such a great use of the Pentax equipment. Thanks for posting.

thanks. I used The Photographers Ephemeris to plan it out and even with the complicated geodetics, the moon appeared is precisely the right spot for my comp.

thanks very much. I am finding the DFA150-450 to be a great performer all around for reach shots.

So that is where the red, red Robin lines come from.

Yes...one of the Very Red Robins we have here. The others are the Red-capped and the Flame.
This little bloke was a willing subject, and posed nicely for a minute or so.
