Short flight of a Pelican

Here's something a little different. Using the DFA 150-450 on a K1 with AF.C, I followed a short flight of a pelican. Despite the bird's trajectory being mostly away from me, focus was maintained throughout. Click on this link to see the complete set of 13 frames.

Trying out the 150-450mm on the K-1 mark II. Of course there will be a moon shot. I am so far very impressed by this combination.

This 150-450 lens is my walkabout favorite too because it works on close and far subjects too.

My first experience with the DFA 150-450mm was with a rental lens that I hired for a trip to Alaska in June 2016.

Before hitting the national parks I gave it a test drive at the Alaska Zoo in Anchorage
