amazingly they have spurs on their wings, may sit on eggs in inappropriate places and both will guard the eggs fiercely

More than three years after this lens' release I have finally bitten the bullet. An upcoming trip to Antarctica was the catalyst, but next year's Le Mans 24 hour race seems like another good excuse.

Early test on some local not-very-wildlife. The shutter speed is a little low for perfect sharpness, but I like what I'm seeing.

Wide open at 450mm, hand held on the K-1 Mark II.
