I never had the KP although people with them really love them. I have a K-3ii listed in the Marketplace which I am only selling to help pay for my FF lenses. I found the K-3ii a kind of mini k-1. I like GPS more than built in flash so I prefer it to the K-3 or the KP. The little AF201 works fine on the rare occasions I need a flash in the field.
Thanks for the input, Mike.

Thanks, Mike. I know, I can't seam to be able to keep this lens off my K1. Going to purchase a Pentax APSC body after I sell my Nikon D750 & 200-400 f/4 VR. Which is the best still available? KP or K3?
I agree. I was impressed how well it worked on the K3 for focus. It needs lots of light though for that sensor.

i shot a soccer game among friends and i am loving the results, especially coming from the 55-300mm.
This ups the game by a few notch the time it takes to grab focus.

loving this every time i use it.

A couple of austere winter super-telephoto landscapes from Skye, D-FA 150-450. Taken just a little while apart :/

This is tightly cropped from original...

This is slightly less cropped, but still cropped from the original. Looking at the "Negative Space" competition this month, I began to wonder if I should crop as tightly as above, or more like this? I just feel like all that nice detail is lost on the wider view... maybe it all depends on the image intent, but it's hard to have the best of both worlds without viewing the uncropped image at like 60" on my TV or something, heh.

At first you may think I just mirrored the last shot and re-posted it, but if you note the leaf below, it is still on the right.
No tripod, and heavily cropped again. This little guy liked this plant and hit every bloom on it.

Nature provided me a natural vignette, I was just surprised the AF center point was able to lock through all that... this is a pretty tight crop.
