For this amount of cropping while chasing bugs and birds, I'd prolly be better off with the one of the 24MP APSC bodies, as Normhead almost has me convinced, but then I get results like this, and have second thoughts. I still want an APSC as a 2nd body for long lens work someday... just waiting to see what the next announcement from Ricoh brings, as I am nothing if not patient. (the hallmark of being a Pentaxian.

Thanks! Do you mean the Embraer Tucano? No, the new trainers are the Pilatus PC21, replacing the PC9.

The display team were the first to receive the PC21.

Pilatus makes really interesting aircraft. Swiss company. Different viewpoint the way Pentax is different. Over engineered, precise, efficient - single turboprop and business jet.

not much you can do about it when you are stuck in a vehicle and cannot get out to try for a different vantage point
