Oh wow, that's a really good view of a Mockingbird! They're really beginning to stir here in south Florida.

Hovering Osprey

Some shots of an Osprey hovering over a pond early this morning. Had the KP on the 150-450. Shots are much sharper than they appear on this forum. Don't know why they soften when uploading here.

Awesome series! Would you like to share some of your secrets, besides skills, patience and commitment? 🤓

Thanks, Marcel. Not much to add to the fine points you mentioned. I guess practice would be another ingredient. After 28 years of serious photography, I've come to realize that practice has to be one of the top three or four most valuable tools for me. Your milage may vary.

FYI I use Lightroom for cataloguing and primary processing, PS CC for secondary processing, Luminar 3 for final processing (mainly clarity and boost ), and Topaz Sharpen AI/Noise AI also. I hope this helps.

Foggy White Pelicans

Not as much luck this morning at the pond, but thought this image was interesting. First rays of sunshine highlighting these two white pelicans through the fog.

For many of us, one such image would be considered great fortune.

I'm very much enjoying your wonderful photos.
