Finally got a chance to get out and take a few pictures.

KP and DFA 150-450.

Ruby-throated hummingbird and a yellow kitty.

That's definitely my experience. Shots I had no chance of getting with the 150-500 now keepers with the 150-450. It more than justifies the price difference IMO.

I normally don't use the KP on this lens.... but sometimes reach beats all.

The Ibis drops the fish, much to the dismay of the gull who tried to put on the brakes and catch it mid air, but happily for the fish, he is off the menu for today.
