Injured juvenile hawk, probably by flying into window after a bird on the feeder. Pinfeathers on beak in other shots show a connection, but there were no other feathers in the area. There is some blood on the feathers around the beak. It sat here for over 45 minutes, and was alert enough to track every small bird that came close. When it flew the 20 feet to the roof of the house, it labored to do so. Hope it survived.

Photo taken through mini-blinds sandwiched between dirty double paned glass. Autofocus would not lock, so had to use liveview manual focus. Note the blind-shaped bokeh in the backround.

Great shot! I hope the bird survived too. Raptors have too many challenges without windows causing injury.

The ladies bo was also in my tree the other morning.. but his darker colours and particular positioning didnt make for as nice a photo.
