Some more random Osprey shots…
Dunno why, but this pic pulls a few of my strings. I guess it's the pose, it reminds me of a few things, several things really… like rower crewing down the river I used to live on… like an angel bowing before God with his wings out front… like an Olympic swimmer doing a breast stroke… I dunno, there is some connection there on the tip of my brain. Something that humanizes this Osprey and his struggle to get airborne and the extreme reach out of his wings, head bowed down, all wet after his dive, yet still showing a certain grace, dignity and power. Oh well, you’d probably have figured it out sooner or later, but yeah, now you know... I’m not normal, LOL.

I don’t know who he’s calling, but it sure was loud. Funny how sometimes the larger birds make the higher pitched call's you might expect from a smaller bird.
