Creation - check some of my earlier posts including both photos earlier in this forum and under "sold" items and you will see some photos from the K35/3.5 that may change your mind. Also some from the K20/4 (not selling it, ever).
I've got a few K series lenses but not the 18mm or 20mm. I don't use the 15 much, it is a bit unwieldy on digital and I have the 12-24. The 17mm fisheye gets used on film. I might use the 85mm for next months Single in... challenge.

Cheers, K.

My first K lens just purchased this week. K 200 2.5 It's been fun using manual controls again. Makes you feel like you're actually doing something

Very cool...I don't really "need" my K135 2.5's big brother, but it's a lens that is has been on my radar for a while. It looks as if you gave it a pretty good "fringing" test on the frieze as well--a characteristic my lens has, but one that I'm happy to put up with.

Yea, I don't think fringing is much of a Problem on this lens. At least it doesn't bother me. I gave $224 for it from KEH. They have one in EX+ condition for $538. I'm very happy with this copy. Looks sharp to me, and bokeh is very pleasing. The real test for this lens is when I take it inside a school gymnasium with all those high intensity vapor lights.

I think you definitely got your money's worth from KEH... I suppose if I were a pro who just had to get the shot no matter what, I'd need various "*" lenses in my bag, but for "civilian" use, a lot of the K's seem as good as it gets.

Thats for sure. I wanted a prime 200mm lens but wasn't ready to pay $700-$900 for a nice used one. I was looking at the A* 200 and the DA*200. This K 200 popped up from KEH so I thought what the heck I'll try it out. I had 14 days to decide. It only took me one day

I'm onto shooting with my K50 1.2 each day in May now for the "Single in" challenge….so expect some 50 shots!

If it goes well it will be sent then to DCshooter to be made pretty as well.

Those are some of the best shots I have seen from the K 200/2.5. Great color and contrast for a 200mm lens.

I've been trying to work out my own version of hoops-on-toast and noelpolar's "K tele + close-up filter" combination, in this case a K135 2.5 and Canon 500D:

As you might expect, it fringes a bit with backlit subjects, but softer light seems to suit it.

Mine too. I have the 200/4 but don't use it much as I find I get nicer results with the M200. One day I'll find a reasonably priced 200/2.5. Patience is a virtue and all that...
