The legendary SMC Pentax 135mm F2.5

Well K McCall says she finds it hard to pass up a bicycle w/o taking a photo of it. I have the same problem with water reflections. Fortunately the K 135mm F2.5 and the local botanical park water garden are a team made for that kind of shooting. Here are a few that I just processed but I'm a bit embarassed to say they've been sitting on my computer for over a year!. sigh.

started to rain a bit hard...good weather for ducks

want to cue up the "Jaws" theme for this one

K50/4 Macro & Auto Extension Tube #3

Here are a few K50 macro shots taken earlier this year, using my KX and
Kodak Ektachrome E100VS slide film. The K50/4 macro is very sharp and
a treat to use.

Those chromes have such a rich deep colour. Itís so good it even looks great on a computer screen. That K 50 macro is impressive as well Phil. I have the M 50 macro and I suspect it is the sharpest lens in my collection.

Nice shots "7.62lew", very sharp and good DOF. I also have the 100mm, do you use any extension tubes?

Thanks "Tom G", the M50/4 macro is also a beauty and very simular to the K version. Yes it's also
my sharpest lens.

Phil.

Thanks goufour3. I don't have any extension tubes, but I bet extension tubes would be a lot of fun

Would you have any pics with extension tubes?

Yes the pictures in post #259 above are all with the Pentax #3 Auto Extension tube. With this tube you can get 1:1 magnification with the K50/4 macro. The second picture of the mosaics, has the largest magnification.

K 200/2.5

A rabbit has been hanging about the yard for a while now. The K 200/2.5 captured him/her rather well this morning.

Nice shot Tom, with good detail in the rabbit’s eye. The K200/2.5 is a real beauty!

I bet if you used your M400 you could tell if it was a he or a she rabbit!
Then again it probably would have run away, thinking you had a weapon.

Thanks Phil.

There will probably be a million of them around by fall. There is a fox and Sharp Shinned Hawk in the neighbourhood that might cull the herd a bit. I've caught glimpses of them but no shots yet.

I splurged and picked up a K85/1.8 a little while ago....I placed the tulips in a small crop of sun coming through the window with my son looking through....I sure like this lens.

Good choice SMC.

Looks like it was well worth the money. The K 85/1.8 is a lens I seriously covet.
I hope to add that or the K 105/2.8 to the collection at some point. The K 105 seems to be a very rare lens.

Talking about a rare lens, don't know if it's rare or not!? But here's a photo with the K105 F2.8 with a 31mm extension ring
