Very nice 3D-looking images there. From what I remember of the M 50/4 macro I briefly owned it had a similar ability but >I sold it because I have the <a which is a stop faster and very good too, but I'm not sure it had that 3D touch.

Hey Jonathan - Thanks = Well this K is honestly my favorite of my bunch (of Ks). I have the 135/2.5; 100/4 Macro; 55/1.8 and 50/4 Macro.

I know my 135/2.5 is a dudder, I have either a bad copy or a pirated one. It is just not as advertised.

The 100/4 - I like it, but having other 90-105mm 3rd party lenses that honestly outperform it. (the Sigma EX 105/2.8 and the Panagor 90/2.8 to be exact - both with the Macro denomination). Also, I plan to acquire the Minolta AF 100/2.8 Macro which according to tales will blow everything off the water (if it performs like the Minolta AF 50/2.8 Macros, then the tales have lots of truth behind them).

The 55/1.8 is gold, as everyone else here knows... But the 50/4 Macro has a different touch to it, very soothing little thing.

That's a great image. I really like the way that leaf pops out! Well done.

I took a long time to get a 100-ish fast AF macro and eventually got the Sigma 105mm EX a few years ago. Since then I've passed on numerous well-priced Pentax 100mm f/2.8 macros as I just can't imagine anything better than my Sigma.

This is very nice. I have a particular fondness of these crepiscular rays. You may have done so already, but this would go very nicely in the cloudscapes-forum as well.

Wonderful separation between the subject and the background with that 28mm lens. I like the idea of imaging this mundane thing that may well be trampled or dug over in five minutes

It was gone within ten minutes of us arriving.

The K 28mm seems to be able to give a nice 3D feeling to images, especially when shot wide open. I don' know when we'll be able to get away anywhere on holiday with some good views but hopefully this lens will be able to fit as I'm looking forward to see what it can do with some nice landscape or seascape views.

Here it is wide open again.

Another nice image. The limited DOF is very interesting and definitely something that is put to very good photographic use by you. You're inducing a very directed form of GAS with me.
