Yeah, it was a real pleasure to use, though camera balance is not as good as with the smaller 35/2 lenses.

Here's a shot for which I had to stop down to f/2.8 as I just couldn't get focus right at f/2 (surprisingly enough...). This is a substantial crop.

Love it, great comp.

Zoom shooting for the bulk of the year means I haven't played with my old primes much.

This was one from February... K 24mm f2.8

Very nice colour in that one, the blues are lovely.

Here's one from a while back with the K 28mm f/2.

That's lovely. The rendering reminds me of what my 28/3.5 super tak does (makes mental note to look at lens diagrams of these two lenses). I love the texture in those clouds.

Thank you!

Based on the diagrams in the lens database here, definitely different formulae (for one thing, the K optic has an additional element).

Yes, very much so. Now, how do I convince the CFO that I need another 28mm lens?

50mm, 35mm, 28mm..... you can never have too many of these focal lengths. There are so many out there to try.

Now there's an idea. I don't have a 35 mm yet. That's what I'm missing.

I'd suggest the 35mm f2 if you can find one in good shape.

Likely much cheaper, with some very nice qualities of its own, is the SMC Pentax 1:3.5 35mm.

Sweet shots from 24mm / 28mm / 35mm

I lack all these FLs from my K collection.

I've enjoyed hunting for the lenses as well as using them. There's a few more on my list still, but pretty far outside my budget
