Beautiful images. I especially like #3 and #5 - very sharp and excellent panning capture of the movement.

Showing off some of my favorite lenses!

Stunning - shows the versatility of the K135/2.5 and your evocative creativity.

SMC 24/2.8

Here are two more shots from my K24/2.8. I'm really liking this lens more and more...

Just did a quick comparison between my new K 120mm and the M 135mm.
The 120mm is sharper and the bokeh seems nicer. I will have to do a test in daylight as well. The K 120mm is actually sharper in the center at F2.8 than the M 135mm at F3.5. I am happy so far.

Kind regards

Yep I thought you would like the K120/2.8. The K105/2.8 is also just as sharp, if you are looking for a "next" purchase!

Enjoy,

Phil.

I think 105mm is a bit too close to 120mm. I have the DA 70 and M 85mm. Next lens is a fast 200mm. I am happy with my M 200 F4, but I believe the K 200 F2.5 is better.

Kind regards

Halifax

Well I'm out in Halifax for work, and unfortunately, things are busy so I can't get out much for taking some shots, but I will this weekend. I've managed to take a few night shots while I've wandered around trying to find a place to eat.... They are going through a cold snap....I was getting frozen!... All shots are done with a K7 using a K30/2.8 at around F8

Here is the Alexandar Keith brewery...

A few from the waterfront....

and this entire block is boarded up...presumably to make room for another skyscraper....??

Think again

Just been out in daylight shooting with K120 and M135.

The K120 is better indoors.... but outdoors is a different story. I found the differences in IQ totally insignificant. In fact, the M 135 is a little sharper when focused close to infinity. This does not mean that the k120 is a bad lens though. However, after taking many many shots I realised that holding the M135 was more comfortable. I just seem to get a better grip with it. I will test a little more but I have a feeling that the K120 is soon on its way to another owner. This gives me an excellent opportunity to buy the K 135mm F2.5 and make a new comparison with the M135

Update: I got the chance to test the K 28mm F3.5 today as well. OMG what a lens! Not too good wide open but already at F4 the sharpness is very very good! At F5.6 it's truly excellent. The bokeh is also surprisingly good. I love this lens!

Kind regards
.lars

Well, the k 120 is now sold to make room for the 135mm F2.5. While waiting I have played with my new K 28mm F3.5. I know I have said it before but I really love this lens. I caught my daughter daydreaming and was able to get a few shots.

Both pics were shot wide open with the window as light source. Unfortunately DOF was not enough to get the arm sharp on the second pic.

Kind regards

It was winter camp with our groups Scouts, Cubs and Beavers....so of course I had to bring along a few Ks. I should also note that I noticed that Pentax was the dominant camera being used there.

Early morning down by the lake....

K7 - K135/2.5

The kids with light sticks.....

K7 - K30/2.8

Scouts leading the group to campfire......

K7 - K30/2.8

Thanks axl. Your shots with the K24 have me thinking about leaving the 30 at home on my next trip out. I picked up one a month or so ago and still haven't had a chance to really give it a proper try.....

Smc, very nice pictures!
I just purchased the K 135mm F2.5. I have been looking for it since I sold my K 120 F2.8 (which was a disappointment). Today I managed to locate a copy for $150 USD, with shipping, hood and lens case included in the price. That's not too bad I think.

Kind regards
